I see this take a lot and i respectfully disagree so much. Standard is deep, modern has enough efficient threats and free interaction to be interesting. I don’t think I’d trade now for a past constructed era.

I think its understated how bad Constructed gameplay is in Magic in 2026. I love Magic with all my heart but the games are mostly awful, linear and decided by the 4th turn and I cannot imagine that the other card games gameplay is much worse if at all.

Look at him, thats my Qual. Your what? My Qualitative! My vibe specialist. Look at him, you notice anything different about him? Look at his face. I'll give you a hint, his name is Jayden. He won a local poetry competition in bushwick! Yeah I'm sure of the vibe.

Happy with this version of Broodscale. Could have made more concessions to the mirror. Convention center sells beers.

9-5 in Ottawa. Not a great result but fun weekend overall. Played an awesome match in round 14 against @PascalMaynard which is really the reason to show 🤘

Electric weekend in the greatest city on earth. Congrats Edgar I guess it was mostly a foregone conclusion, congrats Asha, and thank you Drood. Every day is a gift.

Yesterday we ran an event that I had been thinking about doing for a long time. Its been so hard to fire any event that isn't an RCQ in this day and age. We ran a modern 2k (ended being 2.2k) Warm up event for the RC and 55 people showed up. Great vibes and congrats to @EdgarMTG

Feds consider rolling back Trudeau-era ban on convenience store nicotine pouch sales. A senior federal official confirms there is "openness" in government to easing existing restrictions, the National Post reports. 🧵👇 (1/6)

Karl is excellent at this stuff. Extremely valuable resource if you’re looking for a breakdown on this format or to better understand HOW to think about this stuff in the future.
