Pro Tour champion Simon Nielsen had nearly given up on qualifying for the 2027 Limited Championship, but solid fundamentals carried him to a win in today's qualifier!
"This was my prerelease! Big thanks to Limited Level-Ups and Rough Drafts for speedrunning my Limited prep."

I'm the MOCS Champion! 🥰
Played Esper Ketramose. Didn't want to play Titan and get hit by hate. Expected 1.67 Goryo and 2.137 Broodscales in the field, haven't found other decks I liked vs both.
Huge thanks to @TSPJendrek for the list and to @BigBossAardos for Hard Testing!!!
YOUR #MOCS CHAMPION IS Piotr Głogowski ! Congratulations on an incredible run across Vintage Cube, then taking home the win in the Grand Finals. See you next time! #MTGO #MagicOnline

My sights are back on standard. Bans on the top 3 decks have completely shaken up the metagame. I am still very bullish on Spellementals as a proactive yet adaptable deck. Untouched by bans. Here is what I would play today

The deck I registered for the Pro Tour, UR Wizards, is a blast to play, and with the right sideboard can be extremely competitive now that Phlage is banned.
Shout out to team Handshake, and Moxfield for keeping us organized as we test MANY decks!

I made a youtube video about a presentation that I gave to @HandshakeMTG team-mates prior to the Pro Tour!
Please check it out and please like and share, much appreciated! 🤝🤝🤝

This is the list we played at the PT which I was very happy with, it might not be obvious but it plays around vexing/high noon/meltdown/wrath of the skies a lot better than stock
Really liked our Affinity build for this PT!
The meta definitely could have been better, but the 4 of us who registered the deck had a combined 62.5% winrate nonetheless!
Decklist link in replies including a brief primer and sideboard guide!
@moxfieldmtg @HandshakeMTG
That would be another top8 for @kuismatti 🔥🔥🔥🤝🤝🤝

GIVEAWAY!
I'm bringing my Handshake Moxfield jacket from last year to the Spotlight in Brussels
All I need from you is to comment who your teammates are and how you met! Or alternatively what you will be doing in Brussels if not playing team sealed
I pick a winner in 24 hours!

A deck I worked a lot on for #PTMSH was 4 Colour Control. Of all the decks I tested this had the best Boros Energy matchup and you can see why. Wrenn & Six kills the monkey and the cat and the rest of your removal suite deals with the rest.
I found this much more fun than the stock UW builds at the moment. Narset can be very weak and the lifegain from Omnath is great.

Qualified for the limited championship?!?!
Got there with an ugly UW sealed deck (5-1), and a nice UBx draft deck (3-0)
Thanks again to @HandshakeMTG and my limited confidants Liam and Zev for all the help in this format.

I almost played Izzet Prowess at the Pro Tour and switched to affinity instead a few hours before submission
Curse of the Shaken faith was the solution I found to the storm matchup which was my initial worry about the deck, so I ended up having a pretty good energy storm and broodscale matchup (yes broodscale is good matchup)
The reason I switched off is because I thought goryo might be somewhat popular which is a bad matchup
In hindsight this list would have been ok at the pro tour but is excellent in the online metagame where the good matchups are the most played decks currently

Today is decklist reveal day for Team Handshake, powered by @moxfieldmtg. The team brought 5 different archetypes to attack a diverse modern format, including some spice 👀 🌶️
John Puglisi Clark @puglisi_john is keeping it simple in his Handshake debut with Izzet Affinity. He joins 3 other team members on the deck. A first-time Handshake member has top-8ed each of the last two PTs, can John make it 3?
Finally, our Handshake captain @KingOfTraitors has gone with the breakout deck of the event, Broodscale. Stefan, long regarded as one of the best players without a PT Top 8, finally broke through at PT Strixhaven in May. He'd love to go back to back this weekend.
