Men. Culture is. It’s around you; your home, your church & your world. Are you being fruitful, multiplying, filling, subduing, & having dominion in all those spheres? Someone & something is. Is it the word of God through your headship or the word of a god through someone else’s?

“the same principles that oblige us to submit to civil government, do also equally oblige us, where we have power and ability, to resist and oppose tyranny; and that where tyranny begins, government ends.” The Rev. Samuel West, Massachusetts #ElectionSermon, May 29th, 1776.

The law, as a covenant of works and a rule of life, demands nothing of sinners but what is offered and promised in the gospel; and in the gospel everything freely promised and offered to them is that which the law, in any of its forms, requires.

How The SBC Got Played
An unlicensed investigation, a lawyer editing a report about her own client, and $13 million in tithes later, the largest conservative Protestant denomination in America learned what happens when men fear the mob more than they fear God.
Special thanks to @megbasham and @RodDMartin for their contribution to this project.🫡
You do not have the right to choose what to believe for yourself. The God of Truth, whose image you bear, requires you to seek out and submit; intellect, will & emotion, to truth.
The more we please Christ, the more He comes to delight in His people and rejoice that His work for us is being realized by His work in us.

The Psalms form us as human beings. When we sing them, they become not merely private prayers or emotional poetry, but the Church’s liturgical script for learning how to speak to God faithfully over time.
They train us to rejoice, lament, repent, accuse, hope, and praise in covenantal rhythm, shaping not only what we say to God but who we become before Him. By praying the Psalms, believers are formed into a people who learn patience in suffering, confidence in God’s justice, and joy in His kingship.
Let now begin the time when CK does not make us think of a brand of clothing but of men like Charlie Kirk who died for truth. May we remember that #ChristisKing

An essential duty of biblical preaching is making absolutely certain the saints understand the magnitude of the Father's love for them.
So often we come to God expecting to be hit over the head with a rod—only to find an overflowing cup of mercy in his hand, extended to us.
"We are all still grappling with a hangover from the Enlightenment, when supernatural realities were dismissed outright and moral and educational emphases took precedence."

When @TuckerCarlson has better theology.
Trump is definitely no king but have you heard of Jesus?
Numbers 24:17
…a star shall come out of Jacob,
and a scepter shall rise out of Israel;
it shall crush the forehead of Moab
and break down all the sons of Sheth.
