If you see a hedgehog on campus, please report it on the 'Big Hedgehog Map'!
We'll be surveying for hedgehogs on campus across 2023, and please do visit the wildflower meadow as it starts to bloom over the upcoming spring and summer months.

I’m working on a @SCASuk funded project which explores views on pet friendly university spaces & implications of pet presence/absence on student mental health & wellbeing. If you’re a part of the @KeeleUniversity community, please complete the survey 🐾 forms.office.com/r/t5fe1br8p… RT

Can you spot the wonderful wildlife hide on the edge Keele's lake? Or is it too hidden 🧐 @KeeleWildlife #KeeleWildlifeHide #LoveKeele
We've just had a committee meeting to discuss a few events we have lined up but, before we schedule something you aren't interested in, what is it that you want to do? Please reply to this, message us, email us...

A nice welcome back to the Keele Uni patch, from 4 Hawfinch, after my weekend away. Such charismatic birds. @DWEmley10 @KeeleWildlife
Just a reminder that there is a one-off chance to help build a wildlife hide on campus tomorrow (Friday).
No prior experience necessary & a range of jobs to suit your abilities ranging from wielding a paint brush to using a screwdriver or taking your frustrations out with a spade
We will meet at 10.30am by Lake 5. Biscuits provided but please bring your own lunch and drinks. Also remember to wear clothes you don't mind getting muddy/paint-y.
More info can be found at keelesu.com/events/7153/6418… or email Alicia (x1i53@students.keele.ac.uk)

The government's war on wildlife is being waged in the fields of #Staffordshire (and across the cull zones) ... and people are out in force defending the badgerlands. @Sotlive @Signal1Official @BBCRadioStoke @BurtonMailNews @KeeleWildlife @Staffsbadgers
We're taking on new routes EVERY DAY at the moment! Badger shooters of #Staffordshire, take note: we'll be out defending the badgerlands as long as the badgers need us. #BadgerMonday #StopTheCull @staffsABC

The main attraction around Keele the past few days has been insects rather than birds, with 2x Southern Hawkers & a Common Darter in the garden yesterday and a Purple Hairstreak by the solar farm this morning. @DWEmley10 @KeeleWildlife

A showy Garden Warbler was the highlight on this mornings walk around Keele. One of about 5 pairs I am aware of this year @KeeleWildlife @DWEmley10
