I have now officially adopted the nobledark label for my writing, and you shall all henceforth refer to me as "Noble Lady of the Mostly Dark Darkness with Morally Gray Characters Trying and Sometimes Failing to do the Right Thing."

FROM THE DEPTHS is a @the_sfincs finalist!!
Thanks to the judges for giving my broken family drama disguised as an epic fantasy quest a chance.
Congratulations to the other finalists, and commiserations to the fallen 🍻.

Made a new visual timeline for my fantasy series instead of working on my sci-fi revisions. This is a good use of my time, right?

Been MIA because my family has the plague, but also because I was toiling away on this novella for a secret project. It went off to some early readers yesterday, and I can't wait to tell you more! Mood board for a sneak peek:

It's been one month since OLAL released and almost 1.5 years since my debut, and guess what?
I'm at peace with my publishing journey. Am I an overnight success? No. But I've found a dedicated, passionate readership, and I'm still in love with writing.
The rest is confetti 🎊.

It’s been a whirlwind year. I decided to write again after 10 years, and I started a fun little dnd story. It quickly changed into a totally different story— a novel, and my first attempt at fantasy.
And it releases today!
I’m so proud of this witty, chaotic adventure.

“Dead leaves crunched beneath the dusting of fresh snow under Gertrude’s low-heeled shoes like brittle bones breaking beneath a veil of cobwebbed lace."

🦅FROM THE ASHES 🦅
By @bshgarcia is rife with heavy emotion and pulse-pounding action, and if that’s indicative of what’s to come for the rest of the series, then count me in.

✨ SEPTEMBER WRAP-UP ✨
I read some amazing sequels, did some fun rereads, read my mom's favourite book of 2023 for her bday & found some potential new fave authors 😍
My book of the month is Hell of a Witch, closely followed by Thank You For Listening ❤️
How was your month?
