Sometimes I forget how bad many software developers are at actually building software.
Remember the time when when everyone told us to use nosql for everything, and to build all our apps using microservices?
It's no surprise that today with AI, the bad takes continue to abound.

I just found a Ghanaian guy on TikTok( The Anthemist) who can literally sing the national anthems of almost every country in the world! 🌍🇬🇭 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TALENT!

I like how founders can come together to agree that they are operating at a disadvantage because they are in Nigeria, but cannot give their talents such grace.
Somehow, the environment affects you the founder, but it doesn't affect your employees 💀

👨🏾🍳🇬🇭: I’m so livid this morning. I’m boiling, ankasa!
It had to take a JOURNALIST to finally get a response from government and institutions established to protect citizens in OCTOBER, over allegations dating as far back as FEBRUARY!
For EIGHT MONTHS, where were these institutions? What were they doing while the alleged abuse continued? Their inactions clearly emboldened the alleged perpetrator and exposed more vulnerable people to harm.
Why must victims wait for a journalist to expose their suffering before the institutions paid to protect them begin to act?
A country that cannot guarantee its citizens even the barest minimum of protection has failed them.
And no amount of political rhetoric can excuse that. Tueh!

Not to sound delusional, but please pray for grace. Life isn't really about hard work. It's more about alignment, meeting the right people, grace, mercy, and favour.

Mass transportation is less about Mobility and more about planning.
Which is why to get it to work, we need to make the short-term painful decision of nuking kekes and small buses (anything that seats less than 30 people) off major roads and using bustops strictly

Last year Godwin Asediba did another documentary on teachers impregnating young girls in rural schools in Ghana and it died after a few days of uproar.
Today manasseh has done another one.
Are we going to pretend that there's nothing wrong?
Where is the minister of education?

We have created a culture where abusers have become far too bold in this country. Because why is he still confidently running for a position in the wake of all this? The audacity is crazy to me. Absolutely no self-awareness on his stupid part!

the man did the same thing as an Assistant Headmaster in another school and what they did was to transfer him to another school and add a promotion on top. GES, the Assembly and Police all covered for him. the wellbeing of the kids didn’t matter to any of them.

Overheard a guy talking to a doctor in the emergency ward after he just survived cardiac arrest. He is shouting and asking how? In his words "my kids have not known me oh! They are only 8, 10, and 13". Same age range as my kids. My son is 13 this month.
That is what comes to your mind as a parent after a close shave. As I was falling yesterday, my kids were on my mind. I had gone to look for a belt for my son.
They told him to carry aspirin with him always and change his lifestyle. They could have also been talking to me. My sleeping patterns are out of whack and I keep fighting weight gain because of it. Thankfully that isn't a problem but I don't have to wait until it is.
This fall is going to mess up my fitness streak, but like Michael Jordan said, you struggle through it and never give up. I just won't do weights and swimming for a while, but there is still walking.

"Holy Mary mother of God. Pray for us sinners, now and the hour of our death, Amen! 🙏🏿"
Last night after evening Mass was almost the hour of my death. I tripped over a concrete kerb at Accra Mall and almost hit my head on the concrete kerb. My left hand took the hit and my head hit the ground instead.
With one functional hand, I drove immediately to the nearest hospital and have been here all night pondering how easily it would have ended because o was distracted and trying to lock my car remotely.
Another lady in the hospital who came shortly after I arrived wasnt so lucky. She collapsed at home and they were administering CPR inside the ambulance in the car park as they got to the hospital. She died shortly after in the room next to me.
As I was going to do my CT Scan, I saw here there all alone. Her family distraught in grief had left the hospital. The medical team had done their best and moved on. Everyone left her. That is how lonely death can be.
While I thank God for my luck last night, seeing that dead lady alone in the room was sobering. Her son had come for a last look before he left. That was it. Life was over. That is going to be the fate of all of us one day.
I say that Hail Mary prayer all the time and never considered how easily everything can change in an hour. I pray for solace for that family. That could have been my family too. One day it will be my time.

Having a train that takes you directly to the airport is genuinely one of the top 10 things a city can offer. No expensive taxis, no sitting in traffic, no begging someone to drop you off. Just get on the train and arrive at the airport. Every major city should have this.
