“Our packaging was one way and I thought it looked amazing. And then he walked in and had about a 2-hour conversation with my whole SKIMS team about why it was not so amazing. But it was really inspiring… The team was bringing us other products in the marketplace, saying ‘Isn’t this better than that?’ And Kanye’s main advice was, ‘Why don’t you go get packaging that you think is the best of all time? It doesn’t have to even be in the marketplace, but any product, and you should strive to be on that level. Why are you striving to be better than the worst?’ … He’s like my ghost stylist and my ghost creative director.”
