"Fall seven times, stand up eight." — Japanese Proverb
Nobody counts the seven. They only remember the eighth.
The count that matters isn't how many times you fell, it's whether you're still counting yourself in.
The things we take for granted are usually the things we’ve started assuming will still be here tomorrow. But maybe that was never part of the promise.
Controversial: being "easy to work with" and being a pushover get confused constantly. One earns trust. The other just gets you handed more work for the same pay.
"Fortune favors the bold." — Latin proverb.
Half true. Fortune favors the bold who also checked their downside first. Recklessness just gets there faster and leaves sooner.
