“Printed” — getting that text from Natalie Harp is as close as you can get to a presidential read receipt bc it means she’s printed it and will show it to Trump.
MTG appealed to Harp in a 72-word text message when Trump unleashed a series of attacks against MTG on Truth Social.
And the White House response to Ossoff’s comment about Harp:
“Natalie Harp is one of the most loyal and hardest working aides on President Trump's team,” WH spox Davis Ingle said. “Jon Ossoff is a cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid cosplaying as Barack Obama. Nobody gives a shit what this lightweight loser says.”
She’s is a crucial node in a system in which his aides assemble piles of supportive letters, op-eds, social media posts and other material for him to review and Trump scrawls responses on the printouts with his big black Sharpie, which aides photograph and send back to their authors.

Ted Lieu just put on a masterclass in how to grill an unprepared and evasive witness, beginning by asking Waltz how many US troops have been injured fighting Iran, then closing the trap when Waltz got the answer wrong
"It's not surprising to me you didn't know the answer to that. The reason you are here today is because you were fired by the president from your former position as National Security Adviser. You disclosed classified information that harmed American pilots and put them at risk!"
After Waltz suggested that some US casualties don't really count because the troops died in a plane crash, Lieu exploded on him: "You don't even know how many US troops were wounded in this Iran War! Shame on you! You are the US ambassador and you don't even know how many US troops are wounded! You should be ashamed! You should resign!"

Both the House and Senate passed @RepGregoryMeeks’ War Powers Resolution with bipartisan support—a binding move that compels the president to end his war with Iran.
Trump cannot restart the war without first justifying it to and getting authorization from Congress—which he’s so far failed to do.
Apparently they don’t know how Supreme Court decisions work.
Their reckless war powers resolution has no binding powers against the President. Period.

I don’t know what’s more concerning: the complete lack of legal understanding of the Constitution or your obsession with tying the President’s hands during fragile negotiations to finally end the Iranian threat.
Supreme Court precedent is clear: concurrent resolutions cannot legally bind the President.
