SCOOP: Trump aide Natalie Harp worked at White House without security clearance for a year
Both people said Harp’s reasoning for failing to complete the process was unknown. After concerns mounted among the White House counsel’s office and security officials, the president himself intervened and Harp in recent months filled out the forms to launch a formal federal background investigation and received the clearance, one of the people said.

NEW: John Solomon acknowledges no votes were changed in the 2020, 2022 or 2024 elections. He also, when asked if the 2020 results showing Biden won the presidential election are accurate, said, “I'm researching.” And says no intell that Venezuela tempered with US voting machines.

NEW: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas just walked through the House side of the Capitol.
He didn’t say why he was here. But told me he was meeting with “nobody.”
I said tomorrow will be a big day at the court. “I guess so,” he responded.
Would he give a sneak peak of decisions? “Nope,” he told me with a chuckle.
Liz is the gold standard and no one more deserving of this award!

VANCEBURG, Ky. — I interviewed Rep. Thomas Massie this afternoon, on the eve of his primary race, as he fights for his political life against Trump-endorsed Ed Gallrein.
"I'm very optimistic," he told us. "The fact that the president's losing sleep over my race, posting on social media, the fact they had to send the Secretary of War to the district, that means they're worried."
"It's gonna end tomorrow," he added of Trump's revenge tour. "I'm gonna win. And it's gonna be the biggest revenge loss ever."
More in thread, including why Massie thinks his race is different from Indiana and Sen. Bill Cassidy, why he thinks Trump is targeting him, whether he thinks Trump is fit for office, and more, w/ @SyedahAsghar @MSNOWNews.

@WHCA President and CBS News Senior White House Correspondent @weijia Jiang showed America last night why she is so respected and so admired, not just as a journalist, but as a human being. Weijia worked so incredibly hard to put this event together, to honor and to celebrate the First Amendment and the Freedom of the Press. In the midst of all of the chaos and danger, Weijia conducted herself with class, with poise, with calm and with the utmost professionalism. And in true Weijia form, she immediately traveled to the White House to cover the President’s press conference. Weijia is a true professional and, more importantly, an amazing human being. America loves you, Weijia 🇺🇸

This year’s Special Award goes to “one of the finest journalists of his generation,” said the jury, @BBCSteveR, @BBCNews’ Russia Editor.
“Our media industry is often criticised for not sticking with stories, for moving on too quickly to the next breaking news. But not our winner of this award. He has demonstrated devotion to his patch and a depth of expertise that is unrivalled. He has chosen to base himself in a country that he loves but nevertheless places him under daily intimidation and danger” #RTSAwards
A lot has been made about the one line in @CBSWalsh goodbye but the whole thing is worth a read. She lifted other women up, mastered her beat and deserves respect for an incredible body of work.
