Bros, this your idea sounds like Harvard on paper, but in real life, you just created a massive black market! 😂 Let’s do the street math If an Oyo ID gets me fuel at ₦500 and an Osun man must pay ₦850, every Oyo resident will simply buy with their ID and resell to non-residents at ₦700. Congratulations, you just turned the whole state into mini cabals. Creative thinking is good, but make we no use innovation cause traffic jam!
Bro, LASG has a registration portal for it's residents. They issue ID cards accordingly. I think it's attached to state taxation as well. Stuff like that can be used as a means for the state citizens to get subsidised fuel. Get registered, pay your tax and get an ID. Other peeps from other states not having the ID will pay the normal rate at the pump. It is doable. And a win-win for all. The state makes more money from tax compliance. We need to hold state governors accountable and task them to think!

“job market is fucked up” my ass. people are not even ready to work on writing a basic email, i just asked for proof of work, and people here are sending me the first response they’re getting from gpt that’s not how things work, if I can clearly see that the person is not even ready to write an email by themselves, how the fuck will I even judge them?? we are screaming our throats out that we do need good engineers, using tools is fine, we ourselves encourage using ai, getting you every ai tool you could ever ask for on the first day itself without any questions but at least do the basic work that is required small request to future candidates: if you are sending a totally ai generated mail, better not to send it, you’ll have fewer things to crib about when we don’t open your mail

The average software engineer overestimates their impact and underestimates how replaceable they are. Especially in 2026

We spent months tracking 5,467 bets from Nigeria's biggest sports betting influencers. The bets were worth ~$4.8 million. We wanted to answer a simple question: If you followed their bets exactly, would you make money? The answer is no.🧵👇 With: @thimmie_onas @temiladeoluwaaa

Every project I started, I lost the same week. - Sidebar that collapses. - Table that sorts. - Modal that traps focus. - Empty states. - Skeletons. - Toasts. - Chart wrappers. Written from scratch every time, and worse every time. So I built it once, properly.

Anthropic no really believe their eyes. They’ve reset usage on fable again and reset weekly limits again. Other companies and ai models have caught up and surpassed them and these are companies with huge parent backing. Fire fire on the mountain for them soon.

Some of the best advice I got as a junior engineer: 1. Make it work 2. Make it pretty 3. Add safety with tests 4. Avoid over-engineering 5. Refactor only when needed Software engineering doesn't have to be complicated. All it takes is a simple process and lots of practice. What would you share with your junior self?

My first internet business was an eBook that sold thousands of copies and did over 40 Million naira+ in the 2+ years that I ran the business. I was advertising on Linda Ikeji’s blog (a top blog in Nigeria) when she was the only blogger. I did this every two weeks before people even started using influencer marketing. Way before most Instagram blogs became a thing...way before Tunde Ednut started his first Instagram...way before Tahoma even became a celebrity online. And here is my ONE regret. I Regret not building ONE THING early enough. In the RIGHT market. You see, I am a very intelligent person. I know I am (or at least I like to think I am) - so because of this; I am extremely good at spotting patterns and making inferences, knowing why things happen (even when others don't see it) and I am superb at having original thoughts. Plus I have done this long enough to know that if you are a very ambitious person with big goals - you will most likely regret it too in the end if you make the mistakes I did. ...and it won’t be your fault, we are fighting for survival...and when you are starting from scratch...with no startup capital...very little support - all you’d care about will be THE MONEY No matter how small...no matter how it comes. So you won’t think of the long term. But in the end; here is what you would wish you had done - building ONE THING . You see; there is only two ways people like us can build long lasting wealth & by people like us; i mean people who were not born into riches - (1) By Media (Blog + recurring revenue from a Newsletter, or a Membership site, or a site or brand that sells subscription to a physical product) (2) By code (Software) Everything you do online should be to push one of these two categories ...every success you get is constrained by time, which means - given enough time EVERYTHING will grow: exponentially. Which means; if you follow the model everyone is doing right now here: make posts, sell courses, make posts, sell courses - one off payments. You will make money, no doubts - but COMPOUND EFFECT will not be on your side. At least not on the right things. Yes, you will have the sort of compound effect that gets you a few thousand followers (I have 100k across my accounts)...you will even mistake this for some form of success...people will respect you, and hang on your words. It is good for your ego, but in the long term it is worth very little. ...and heck; getting a compound effect in your follower list will even boost your income through a couple millions in sales here and there. But take that income & put it into something solid. Money is not the goal, wealth is - and wealth comes from ownership. I see that now. Own Media or Code, focus on this EVERY DAY for the next 5 years. - you will thank me for it in the end. The cheat is Compound Effect. I have met lots of REAL rich people and i can tell you that they are not smarter than you, in fact most are flat out dumb - but they do one thing for 10 years...sometimes 20 years. Their only secret is Compound Effect. When you do something long enough the results grow exponentially. For more on this read ‘’Compound Effect’’ by Dareen Hardy. Which brings me to the next point: If you are going to do something for that long, then it must be worthwhile right? Something with long term value, in a market where people can pay for or are willing to pay for what you bring. ...so the market you pick to play in is the next most important thing to focusing on one thing. Every business that lasts sells ONE THING or multiple things to the same set of people multiple times. They optimize to sell and sell to one person.

The Formula That Brings Money = What you are about to read is very powerful... ...and I wish someone had shared this with me when I started some 6 years ago. Because in just ONE YEAR of learning this formula...i made MORE MONEY than i have EVER made in the past 6 years - combined. So read carefully Do you know how much it will cost you to live a rich life? Let’s do the maths. - A Semi detached duplex House - ₦150 Million naira - RX 350 Car - ₦50 Million naira - Living Expenses for 2 Years - ₦50 Million Total = ₦250 Million The question is - you want to be rich, But can what you do now help you hit ₦250 Million in the next 5 years? Can it bring it in CONSISTENTLY? If your answer is no, then you need a different strategy! (See my pinned tweet later) 3 years ago, I did the maths myself, and discovered I needed ₦500 Million to live a rich life. That is when I discovered & started using the formula of wealth & in one year - my income SHOT UP. Here is the formula Wealth = Earning x Savings x Investing This formula simply means - To finally hit your rich life goals: Increase your daily earnings, save most of it - then when that saving grows INVEST most of it and it will yield more money Here is a Real life example (and feel free to copy this) - More than a year ago I set up a ‘’rich life funding business’’ [Separate from my main business - see my pinned tweet for an example of one] This is simply a business that helps me RAISE money to pursue my dreams. The goal was to make ₦20,000 - ₦50,000 EVERY DAY from that business [On average - it can be more on good days]. In 30 days, a ₦50,000/day business will bring in = ₦1.5 Million. Next is I saved every single kobo of that cash flow. When it reached about ₦20 Million I Invested it all in ONE BUSINESS [and it went well - my income shoot up & i will get closer to my rich goals] Look at the formula again: W = Earnings x Savings x Investing. [If you follow this formula your life changes - you can use it to raise money for a car, raise money to relocate abroad or raise money to fund your dream business] The rule of this formula is simple - ====== - Set up a ‘’rich life funding business’’ (Like the one in my pinned tweet) - Make sure you make money daily from it - no matter how small - Save almost every penny - the more you make, the more you save. - Invest it in a Higher Business Goodluck

Build with Tailwind, and you won't go back to CSS. Build with React, and you won't go back to JavaScript. Build with NextJS, and you won't go back to React. But Build with Typescript, my bro. You will definitely run back to JavaScript.😂

Should I share exactly what I’ll do to start earning N850k a month, even in this economy….If You Locked Me in a Room for 7 Days, And All I Have Is A Laptop, Internet And N55,200 in My Opay… If you want me to create a video breaking this down, type “YES” in the comment & retweet. If I get 500+ replies & 1K likes, I will work on the video PS: I set this at 1k likes because I am too lazy to make a video, and a part of me wishes this doesn’t get to 1K likes 😂😂

Employee mindset keeps you trapped in reactive mode where others control your time, energy, and earning potential. Entrepreneurial mindset creates options and leverage.
