While every other politician in Canada is spending today reaffirming this fundamental right, Ford has been silent. Meanwhile, one of his top MPPs has been filmed standing outside the legislature - *our* legislature - pledging to end abortion access: xitter.cf/ASimardL/status/152155…

Watch @samoosterhoff, a top Doug Ford MPP outside the legislature "pledging" to end abortion. Ford made this Conservative responsible for overseeing public schools. Why is Doug Ford letting him run under the Conservative banner? Where does Ford stand on a woman's right to choose?

We have a plan to defeat Doug Ford's conservative government. Our grassroots, volunteer-led effort is doing the work to #UniteTheVote in Toronto and shut out Ford's PCs. On June 2nd, #Toronto fights back. Join the movement at NotOneSeat.ca #TOpoli #OnPoli #NotOneSeat
Infographic says "Progressive voters can all agree on something: not another four years of Doug Ford." Top right says, "Ford won last time with only 40% of the vote because progressives were split three ways. Top right also shows two pie charts illustrating the split votes. In the middle, there is the Not One Seat logo, which is a linked circular illustration coloured orange, red and green. Text says, "That's why a grassroots network of voters have a plan - to make sure that Ford wins #NotOneSeat in Toronto. NotOneSeat.ca" Steps that the Not One Seat team is taking: "1. Our Data Team is crunching the numbers to identify the candidates best positioned to beat Ford in every seat in Toronto - more than enough to deny him a majority. 2. Our Creative Team is raising awareness, shining a light on Ford's reign of errors and mobilizing voters behind the candidates who can beat him. 3. Finally, we'll equip volunteers with toolkits and resources they can use to get out the vote in June."

Things we don't need right now: an election and a fuuuucking air show. Hard pass on both.

WHY IS THE AIRSHOW BACK? ESPECIALLY WHILE MY CHILD IS NAPPING?

decided that i will now be swapping my usual conversation ender ‘have a nice day’ to a significantly more ominous ‘enjoy your next 24 hours’

The immediate answer to variants should not be third boosters. It should be global vaccine equity. We will continue to have new, more virulent variants if we allow the virus to grow unchecked. What happens in another part of the world will absolutely impact us.

3-year-old Ontario girl in urgent need of rare mixed-ethnicity stem-cell donor | CBC News

Leia Fallico's life depends on a stem cell donation — the only cure for a rare genetic disorder that's causing her bone marrow to fail. But of the 40 million registered donors worldwide, not a single...

I am so fucking sick of the Ontario tweets telling me "get vaccinated" as if getting vaccinated isn't what I've been trying to do for the past five fucking months.

NACI just needs to stop. They’ve done more for vaccine hesitancy than any group in Canada. I’m sure business classes will be using them as a case study on how NOT to communicate your message in the near future.

Nothing bothers me more than a recipe that calls for *half an onion*. You just expect me to keep this random half onion in my fridge forever like that's completely fine? Pass.

We're just weeks away from Stage 2 but @MacLeodLisa & @fordnation have yet to make it clear what's allowed for the Live Arts! For orgs like @TOpictureshow, "open with capacity and other restrictions" doesn't mean much for planning & ticket sales. #FairnessForArtsON #onpoli

I would love to read an in-depth analysis from a webdev or related expert on why the provincial gov vaccine booking website is so bad. Is it well built? Is it just cracking under pressure? Tell us what our money bought.

tell me how i can go on dominos pizza dot com and see my pizza get made and delivered in real time while no one seems to be able to easily book a second dose vaccine without a government site crashing or being offered a shot at locations like 100 km away – at Toronto, Ontario
