A highlight from day #2 of #RGSIBG24 #geography conference was collaborative participatory #mapping with @sforrest1 to draw a map then add detail on transparencies - the session illustrated how to work with publics on solutions to complex problems. @RGS_IBG
At the #RGSIBG24 plenary we learned about contemporary geographers using maps to communicate #socialissues and how #SubjectiveMapping challenges the singular view of traditional #mapping @RGS_IBG

Painful to hear Nick Thomas-Symonds making terrible job of trying to defend the utterly indefensible on @BBCr4today - deducting prison food & living costs from compensation paid to people wrongly imprisoned is simply obscene. Come on Labour - people expect better
