Amazing fun to share our @EEIatHull Flood Recovery Game at #FloodandCoast24 - so much energy and enthusiasm in the room! Thank you to our friends at @Hullccnews and @avivaplc for helping us facilitate the largest session we've run, and to @CIWEM for a great conference :D
Great to talk to and exchange views with so many people at #FloodandCoast24 . Many conversations on our CIWEM- accredited MSc in Flood Risk Management, our Flood Recovery Groups, future research projects (and potential collaborations!).
Thunderstorms have followed me east to Nancy! Lots of lighting and rain - with some potential flooding :O best adaptation measure: have a beer and wait for it to all blow over!
Arrived in Paris yesterday in the midst of a "Super Cellulaire Orange" (supercell thunderstorm) with huge hailstones, flooded airports, and flooding through certain streets :O
Delighted that our second workshop was so positively received! Great to bring academics, youth voices, policymakers and practitioners into the same room - excellent contributions from the school pupils in Hull @thrivetrust_UK @thrivetrust_PEL
