Didn't expect WWE to start with the Men's Rumble match. Looks like the Bloodline match might be the main event match. #royalrumble2023

There are 40+ injured people inside #GotaGoGama & the military is not allowing them to come out, or they are not letting anyone go in. This sort of action are not even done during a war.

The BASL condemns the attack by the forces on protestors. It is a black day for the country. The attacks happen on the first day in office of the new President. Shame!!
The world this is @RW_UNP in power.

A friend sent this. This is apparently the prime ministers @RW_UNP home. It has been set on fire. I strongly condemn this violence. This is not justifiable.

To ensure the continuation of the Government including the safety of all citizens I accept the best recommendation of the Party Leaders today, to make way for an All-Party Government.
To facilitate this I will resign as Prime Minister.

Majority party leaders agree on below:
1. Pres @GotabayaR and PM @RW_UNP to resign immediately
2. Speaker to act for President for maximum 30 days
3. @ParliamentLK will elect MP as President for remainder term.
4. Appoint interim all-party government and elections soon
