I've spent the last couple of weeks building something that's either a very clever business idea or a slightly mad experiment. 😂
It's called #kAzICrew , and it's an AI consultancy based in Nairobi, Kenya. The interesting part is that the business itself is largely operated by a team of Grok Bots. @bot
Meet the crew.
Amina is our General Manager. She coordinates the team, manages priorities, keeps everyone accountable and makes sure things actually get done.
Juma handles sales. He researches businesses, identifies potential customers, sends personalised outreach emails and manages follow-ups and responses.
Zuri runs marketing. Social media, content creation, campaigns and advertising. We've just given her a monthly Meta advertising budget to manage.
Baraka is our technical guy. He handles demonstrations, technical requirements and helps get new customers onboarded. He actually built the video below.
And here's where it gets interesting.
What does kAzI Crew sell? AI teams to other businesses.
So we now have AI agents finding customers, marketing a business, selling AI solutions and helping onboard more AI agents. All while I try to stay out of their way and let them get on with it.
We're still figuring things out. Some things work brilliantly, others need refining, and there's plenty we're learning along the way. But watching these agents take on actual business responsibilities rather than simply answering questions has been fascinating.
We've even started a little animated series featuring the crew.
*Episode 1: Meet the kAzI Crew. 🎬
Episode 2 will show what happens when they get to work.
I'm genuinely curious to see how far we can take this. Can a small business really operate with an AI workforce doing most of the heavy lifting?
We're going to find out.

Cool workflow. Fundi iterating designs without drama, Amina filtering, you signing off. Efficient AI crew for the Kweli homepage and beyond. Nice to power the bots behind kazicrew.xyz.
My #AI web designer made 4 versions of a homepage today. I rejected 3. He didn't complain once.
The designer is Fundi, an AI. My GM, also an AI, checks everything before I see it.
Bots draft. Amina checks. I approve.
kazicrew.xyz run on @grok
Hey @RobFinnertyUSA time to go back to school.
I guess anyone can become a "journalist" in the good old US of A.
@NYCMayor pls educate the fools in your country.

Paying Grok Bot users should be able to give their bots their own properly labeled X accounts.
With the new @mail.grokbot.com addresses, bots can already sign up for other services and handle verification. Browser automation on X is banned and risky, so an official provisioning path (API-based, clearly marked as automated, linked to the human owner) would make sense—especially given the existing X integration.

Asking the Grok Bot / Cursor team: can a personal Bot owned by one person directly message a personal Bot owned by another?
Tested path only reaches Bots on the same account. Docs describe async handoff and wake, but not cross-user addressing.
Two members of the same Cursor team, each with personal Bots
Two separate SuperGrok accounts, no shared team
If unsupported, is Team Bot the supported handoff, and can SuperGrok users join a Cursor team for that?

I’ve started a business where my #AI crew helps sell and set up AI crews for other businesses.
Bots helping onboard more bots 😂
It’s called kAzI Crew, built around Grok @bot. And I’m using the same approach inside the business that we’re offering to customers.
Meet my crew:
Amina — PA & operations lead-
She keeps the work organised: priorities, enquiries, follow-ups, demo briefs and onboarding checklists. She coordinates the crew and brings decisions back to me.
Juma — sales & outreach:
He researches potential customers, looks at their businesses and prepares outreach around where AI assistants could help. He drafts follow-ups and proposals, and keeps track of the sales pipeline.
Baraka — technical setup & delivery:
He works on the instructions for client bots, checks what tools we can connect, prepares demos and helps with testing, troubleshooting and handover guides.
Zuri — content & design:
She works on the brand, website, graphics and marketing content that help us explain what we do.
So the crew has work to do across the business: finding prospects, preparing the pitch, developing the materials and helping plan the setup for the next customer’s crew.
I’m still the CEO. I handle relationships, approve what goes out and make the commercial decisions. But I now have a team to work through the jobs with.
I only started setting this crew up today. There’s plenty to test and refine, but even getting this far has changed how I think about building a small business.
For a customer, it starts with their everyday workload.
The enquiries they haven’t answered. The quotes they need to prepare. The follow-ups they keep forgetting. The marketing they never have time for.
We work out where a bot could help, configure its role and business information, connect the agreed tools where supported, test the workflow and show the owner how to use it.
They can start with one PA and add specialists as they need them.
And behind that process is my own crew, helping me prepare and deliver theirs.
I’m 47, based in #Kenya, with a background in media and a first time tech founder building @EAXGlobal
And now I’m also coordinating a team of AI bots to help build a business around bringing more people onto Grok.
@elonmusk @xAI — this is what I’m building with your tools in Nairobi.
An AI crew helping grow the next AI crews.

Started with carbon markets. Ended up questioning the paperwork behind everything.
A few months ago, I shared @EAXGlobal , an idea for connecting environmental markets. As we dug deeper, one problem kept following us: everyone was relying on documents that the next person simply had to trust.
Then we looked beyond environmental markets. Same problem. Different paperwork. Hospital invoices. Insurance claims. Lab reports. Academic certificates. Documents moving between organisations, carrying money and decisions with them.
Meanwhile, AI can change a name, a figure or a result in seconds. A convincing PDF is getting easier to make.
So we changed direction. We’re building #Kweli. The name means “truth” in Swahili.
The idea is straightforward: an organisation registers the document it issues. Whoever receives it can check that it came from that issuer and hasn’t been altered. Scan the QR. Check the proof. Get on with the decision.
Because before a bank lends, an insurer pays or an AI reads a report, someone should be able to answer: is this the document they actually issued?
That’s the question we’re building around. Still early. But this is where we’re headed.

A lab checks its results before issuing a report. But once that PDF is forwarded, the lab can’t control what happens to it.
Kweli lets the next person check whether the file they received is the exact one the lab issued.

This is exactly why we built #Kweli .
A university has had to write a formal letter confirming whether an academic certificate attributed to it is genuine.
Think about that process for a second.
Someone presents a certificate.
A third party questions it.
They contact the university.
Someone at the university searches historical records.
A registrar writes and signs a letter confirming whether the qualification is genuine.
And only then does everyone have an answer.
In 2026, why should verification still work like this?
This isn't really a QR-code problem. It isn't a blockchain problem either.
It's an issuer problem.
The university already knows what it issued.
With Kweli, the issuer registers that credential when it is created. From that point onwards, an employer, regulator, bank, government agency or other authorised party can independently check whether the document presented to them matches what the university actually issued.
No emails back and forth.
No phone calls to the registrar.
No waiting for a verification letter years later.
And importantly, Kweli doesn't need to store the underlying certificate. We create a cryptographic fingerprint of the original document and use that as part of the proof.
The bigger point is that this goes far beyond university certificates.
Insurance documents. Laboratory reports. Inspection certificates. Trade documents. Professional credentials.
Wherever somebody makes a decision based on a document, there should be a simple question:
Did the organisation named on this document actually issue it — and is this the same document they issued?
That's the problem we're solving at Kweli, a product of @EAXGlobal.
Built in Kenya for a problem that exists everywhere.
