Just reading this wonderful new autobiography. I was aware of her version for children "Coming to England" before, and had used it in my teaching on @GoldUnivMACL . However this book makes me realise how little I knew about such an inspirational woman. Highly recommended.

My last teaching session ever at @GoldUnivMACL with the wonderful @MichaelRosenYes. Good luck to all our MACL students, and especially these ones on the Children's Literature in Action module for sharing my final moments in the classroom! I will miss you all.

#womanhood great programme. Love Kirsty Wark but why does she question a woman saying she wants it all? Why shouldn't she? If men put their plans on the back foot a bit when they have kids then more women could enjoy motherhood and move forward with their careers at the same time

A good turnout on the picket line today and a visit from John McConnell, among others.
