I spoke to provincial leaders about the importance of the Canadian market to California farmers and the importance of continuing close collaboration on dairy, beef and energy trade.
There is a political tradition in Canada, as there is in the United States, of politicians serving pancakes to their constituents. It was a pleasure to join Alberta’s Premier, Danielle Smith, for some good food and frank conversation about the needs of farmers in California and Alberta.
