In 2014 when I resigned from Cabinet over the then war on Gaza Ed was leader of @UKLabour and was kind and supportive in the face of the predictable onslaught that I faced.

Honoured to join the IHDF annual dinner and meet Professor Shafi Ahmed. Incredible work by British Bangladeshi medical professionals supporting vulnerable communities across Bangladesh and beyond. A powerful reminder of our community’s global impact.

I was out canvassing in an area where there is absolutely no threat of Reform winning, and told by several that Labour’s main argument for voting for them is, if you don’t vote for us you’ll get Reform… utter lies. Churchfields residents and others across London, I hope you’re not buying this!
Labour have nothing positive to say for their record in government or running Redbridge council so have to resort to lying. Desperate and harmful.

Our Redbridge parks are amazing but our waterways needed some TLC. This year we’ve started dredging and improving the water quality for the aquatic wildlife.
The ducks, geese, fish +++ that rely on the water in our parks should thrive as the works complete.

4am this morning @khayerc and I joined dedicated @MPSRedbridge officers on a major operation targeting criminals across our borough.
Crime is falling, but we’re determined to make Redbridge safer, and it’s intelligence from our neighbours that helped make these arrests.
