I asked 30 Japanese 12-year-olds one question. "What do you think of when you hear 'America'?" (My nephew's teacher let me visit his class. I was not prepared.) "Hamburgers the size of my head." "Everything is big. Even the milk." "Cowboys." Then a boy asked me, "Do cowboys still exist?" I said yes. The whole class cheered. "They went to the moon." I told them only Americans have ever walked on it. The room went completely silent. Respect. "The best baseball in the world. Even Ohtani had to go there." "Superheroes. They all live in New York." Then a quiet girl in the back raised her hand. "My grandma says when the tsunami came, American soldiers came to help her town. She still has a photo with them on her fridge." Nobody said anything for a while. Then the teacher asked, "Who wants to go to America someday?" Every hand went up. Including the teacher's.

Bought a 100mg GHK-Cu vial but it only fits 2–3mL of BAC water? Easy fix: 1. Order sterile empty vials (5 or 10mL) from Amazon 2. Reconstitute the GHK-Cu in its original vial with 2–3mL BAC 3. Transfer it to the larger vial with a fresh syringe 4. Add more BAC water to dilute to your target concentration Done ✅

All in jest 😂 We called them to let them know someone was counterfeiting their COAs. It would be fun to have an online nemesis. I need to get him on X so he can dish it back.

I realized I never responded to this. My wife Ashlee and I own @TrustPointe, so I was avoiding the temptation to respond with our lab.

HPLC Purity is: (Peptide Peak Area) / (Sum Area of All Peaks in the Chromatogram) It answers the question, “What percentage of all the peaks found was the actual peptide?” Identity by MS gives you the molecular weight of the molecule. Tirzepatide should weigh 4813.45 g/mol. If you run MS and get a different number, it isn’t tirzepatide. Net peptide content seems to trip people up, and I’d go so far as to say it’s the wrong and confusing term/approach for a pharmaceutical. Net peptide content can found with elemental analysis, HPLC-UV, etc. Assay value is the right term. It points to only the peptide and ignores fillers and everything else. Your 200mg ibuprofen tablet underwent an assay, and the specification was probably 90.0-110.0% of label claim. The instrument would report 98% of label claim or 196mg (however you set up the calculation). The tablet itself could weigh 350, 500, or 1000mg and it doesn’t matter because the assay only looks at the ibuprofen, and not all the fillers in the tablet. Same thing for an assay on a vial; the assay tells you exactly how much peptide is in the vial, regardless of the fillers (mannitol, trehalose, buffers, preservatives)
