Carson Schwesinger credited the Browns’ defensive success to their relentless quarterback pressure, disruptive front four, and strong team chemistry, saying every player trusts their teammates to make plays. "The fact that we're getting pressure on the quarterback, I think that's one of the biggest things. Our front four obviously is the engine of that defense and how we run, and when they're rolling every game like they are and causing havoc in the backfield and the run game and obviously in the pass game like that, and also just to the scheme we have and getting all types of guys to go and have a chance to get at the quarterback. When you can affect the quarterback, it leads to being able to play good defense, and that's what we've been able to do, and that's what we're going to keep doing as we keep going. When you make those plays, you could see the whole defense get excited. And that's one of the things we have too here is just that connection between everybody on the field and knowing that no matter who we put on the field, everybody out there can go make a play, and we have trust in that, and that's pretty fun to be out there with." Maliek Collins is 31 and still thriving. He is violent inside with both arms, has a nasty quick spin move, and has also mastered the hand combat that allows him to win quickly. He is a force.

Andrew Berry is earning praise around the NFL for his structured approach, strong draft classes and commitment to a long-term plan that is beginning to pay off for the Browns. "When you talk to Andrew Berry, it's almost like talking to a computer. He's structured. He's detailed and programmed. He does a great job articulating that with ownership. He's responded with strong drafts," one longtime NFL executive who knows Berry well told ESPN. "The challenging part is it takes a stomach to stick with it. But you must give credit to that whole organization for standing strong through Berry's plan, and you see it paying off." (espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5022…)

Let me drop some knowledge for you Jay: Since 2021, teams that start 4-2 make the playoffs 76.9% of the time (30 of 35 possible teams) And if you wanted to dig deeper, Cleveland’s schedule outside of the AFC north has only one team with an above .500 record currently (Vegas is at .500 right now) On the flip side with the Rams pick, teams that start 2-4 make the playoffs 21.9% of the time in that same span. Consider of the next 6 games, Rams will play 3 teams above .500 (and a fourth one that they already lost to in Arizona?) Yeah, the #DawgPound should be looking to win as much as possible. That Rams pick is gonna be higher than folks initially thought.

They’re SIX games into the season. This isn’t them winning a game in December when they were already 3-12. The Browns are 4-2. All of these games are meaningful right now. Also, the Rams are 2-4! If there’s any time for the Browns to go and make the playoffs it’s right now.

Winning matters in building a young team. No matter what. You have two firsts and Berry has crushed two drafts. Trust he will find that guy. #Browns

Pure stupidity. Just a complete loser mentality. I get it, no one likes the QB, he’s probably playing his last games as a Cleveland Brown. Great. Doesn’t mean we want to give up winning. It’s not meaningless. At some point you have to break through a losing mentality.

KC Concepcion went to Berea-Midpark Middle School today and met with kids receiving speech & language services. KCC has struggled with a stutter for his entire life. I could not love this kid any more.

Imagine being this bothered by someone starting something of their own. These guys have been crying in my mentions for months because we disagree on sports. Now they’re mocking a page that’s barely a day old. Everybody starts somewhere. I’ll keep building while you keep watching.

.@BaldyNFL praised the Browns’ defense as a shutdown unit, highlighting its ability to pressure quarterbacks with four rushers, blanket receivers in coverage and tackle effectively. "This is an observation, but for my money, you wanna watch a defense go play. Watch Schwesinger, Quincy Williams. I don't care who's passing or rushing. Maliek Collins, Adin Huntington, Jared Verse, it doesn't matter. They will move the quarterback off the spot with just four, then they will play sticky man coverage everywhere you go, and then they play with bounce in their step. This defense right now, they can flat-out shut you down. There's nothing that they don't do well—tackle, cover."

Emmanuel McNeil-Warren’s stats through six weeks are ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS: • 163 total defensive snaps • 24 total tackles • 6 targets allowed • 2 receptions allowed (23 total yards) • 3 passes defended • 39.0 average passer rating allowed/game The Browns rookie S has been playing like a TOP-10 NFL safety this season 😳🔥
