My favorite sleepers for the #NFLDraft
QB: Depends on your definition of sleeper. But I’d lean Austin Simmons, Missouri or Katin Houser, Illinois here.
RB: Wayne Knight Jr, UCLA
WR: How much time ya got? Javon Tracy at Minnesota, Pofele Ashlock at Hawaii, QueSean Brown at VT, I could go on and on.
TE: Brett Norfleet, Missouri or Willie Rodriguez, Kentucky
OT: Elijah Paige, USC or Jimothy Lewis, Cal
Edge: Jordan Ross, LSU or Boubacar Traore, Notre Dame. Would also mention Keyshawn Johnson, Syracuse.
DT: CJ Fite, Arizona State
LB: Myles Graham, Florida
CB: Chris Peal, Syracuse
S: Faletau Satuala, BYU

Seeing a lot of revisionist history on the timeline about Josh Allen.
Did we forget his first two seasons in the league:
52.8% comp percentage, 2074 yds, 10 TD-12 INTs thru 12 games. QBR of 49.8
58.8% comp percentage, 3089 yds, 20 TDs, 9 INTs thru 16 games QBR of 49.4
Josh Allen wasn’t the JA we know until year 3. So I’m saying this now, and I want some folks to say it with me:
“We have to stop expecting immediate success from rookie QBs, and wanting to move on from them when they struggle early.”

Zone to man - Match Concepts
Man to Zone - I call it Banjo, some call it box, some call it switch. Think of a cover 1 with a “banjo” call:
Normal C1:
CB covers WR
Nickel covers Slot
C1 Banjo:
WR goes inside, nickel takes him. He goes outside, CB takes him.
Slot cuts outside, CB takes him. He sticks inside, nickel draws him.
Pretty easy stuff to explain, but when he says stuff like this, makes me wonder how much that “defensive phD” is playing into it
