On Monday, @JordanRaynor joins me on the @EmbracingBroken podcast. The topic? His latest book, due out May 6th, is "Five Mere Christians: Binge-Worthy Biographies That Show You How to Glorify God in Your Work." Don't miss this one.

Fred Rogers, glancing over at his friend in the church pew beside him, was shocked. The pastor in the pulpit, a man in his eighties, had just wrapped up what Fred called “the most poorly crafted sermon I had ever heard in my life.” And yet, there was his friend, wiping tears from her eyes. “He said exactly what I needed to hear,” she whispered. That terrible sermon? Exactly what she needed to hear? Fred thought in disbelief. Later, he realized, “The Holy Spirit was able to translate the words of that feeble sermon to speak to the need of my friend…That experience changed my life. Ever since, I’ve been able to recognize that the space between someone who is offering the best he can and someone who is in need is Holy Ground.” An excerpt from @JordanRaynor soon to be released book, Five Mere Christians: Binge-Worthy Biographies That Show You How to Glorify God in Your Work
