For a lot of you The Shadow Strays will be out by today, for some tomorrow.
Thank you for your willingness in spending 144 minutes of your life for the film.
Its a film thats dear to my heart, a personal challenge for me to make a hardcore action tale utilizing a new breed of (younger) talents who has no background in the action cinema.
In this case ALL cast I feel delivered in spades , including Aurora as agent 13 who I proudly call my cinematic kid.
(She’ll go far & beyond)
Its also a love letter for the cinema of John Woo, Miike & Besson … to some extent, the scummy desperate world of Abel Ferrara.
Your viewing means a great deal for not only me but the prevailing proof that theres an Audience for a movie such as this one.
I hope to make more of these and excited to see how far I can push it further.
