While Canadians struggle with rising living costs, tuition, and finding employment, serious questions are emerging about how millions in taxpayer-funded student grants were distributed. 💰 HERE'S WHAT WE KNOW: 🔴 Approximately 14,800 students at three Academy of Learning locations received more than $219 MILLION in non-repayable OSAP grants during 2024–25. 🔴 Students at ALL publicly funded Ontario colleges combined qualified for approximately $385 MILLION in OSAP grants that same year. 🔴 Government inspectors raised concerns about unusually rapid course completions, shared student-account access, and possible third-party involvement in academic work. 🔴 The three locations have challenged the province's decision to revoke their OSAP eligibility. They dispute most allegations, which have not been proven in court. Now here's where things get interesting. A promotional video from Academy of Learning Mississauga East features Ayesha, who describes her journey from student to intern to full-time employee. Meanwhile, online claims suggest that location processes 30–40 graduates daily. That figure needs independent verification. If these numbers are accurate, Canadians deserve to know how the programs operate, how academic standards are maintained, and where the public money is going.
