The first thing I used to see when boarding a train departing for london was a migrant hotel (literally inside the station). Upon arrival into London, the first thing I see is usually smack/crack heads. I then pass a couple of (mainly foreign) homeless encampments, followed by a stand with men handing out the Quran. I then walk the rest of the route trying to dodge litter & discarded bikes, while desperately trying to avoid getting my phone snatched out of my hand. Perhaps I need to start skipping into work with James, ignoring all that stuff and looking at the statues instead 👍🏻
