Labour were told their plans for Local Government Reorganisation were rushed, costly and carried huge risks to social care in particular. They ploughed ahead anyway.
We took them to court in Reform-led Councils. Today WE WON. Just like when we forced them to reinstate elections.

John Healey failed to rule out tax rises at next month’s Budget as he addressed the strain on public finances during his first major speech as Chancellor.
Mr Healey refused to answer questions on whether he would raise taxes next month as he warned it would “fuel more speculation”, but said he would be “honest” with the country about the need to control public spending🔗

Even the United Nations refugee agency is now criticising the Home Office for granting asylum to migrants “not entitled to it”.
Only half of asylum decisions, the UN found, meet the governments own quality standards.
The entire system is a joke.

Today I will introduce the Military Operations Bill to Parliament.
In recent years we have subjected our brave service men and women to a slow-motion moral failure.
We have watched as our legal system imports laws written to apply to civilians in peacetime into lethal combat zones.
As a result, troops tell their commanders they no longer fear only the enemy in front of them but the lawyer behind them.
My Bill would put an end to that and ensure that those who defend us know the State stands firmly behind them.

The first thing I used to see when boarding a train departing for london was a migrant hotel (literally inside the station).
Upon arrival into London, the first thing I see is usually smack/crack heads.
I then pass a couple of (mainly foreign) homeless encampments, followed by a stand with men handing out the Quran.
I then walk the rest of the route trying to dodge litter & discarded bikes, while desperately trying to avoid getting my phone snatched out of my hand.
Perhaps I need to start skipping into work with James, ignoring all that stuff and looking at the statues instead 👍🏻
