This is the worst an Eagles offense has performed through Week 6 this century. Among 27 teams since 2000, the 2026 Eagles rank last in both EPA per drive and success rate.

Nikki Haley: “There are certain decisions that will go down as history-defining moments. This is one of them. It's a terrible misjudgment of Putin, who has made it clear he wants to destroy the West. We shouldn't help him do it.” Mitt Romney: “Do we prize liberty or do we prize power and purse? No more clear test than the choice between Ukraine and Russia. Abandon Ukraine and we abandon liberty. Eventually even our own.” Thom Tillis: “Beyond irresponsible. What part of enforcing a law passed 86-11 by the Senate does the President and his advisors not understand? It’s unconscionable that this administration is capitulating to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians every single day. If the President wants to actually bring down energy prices, he can do it by solving the Iran problem, not by doing a solid for Vladimir Putin.” Laura Loomer: “Putin’s goal is to take Ukraine. Then he will take Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and he will make his way through all of Europe. People obsess over personalities too much. You could have an election in Ukraine tomorrow and Putin would still find a reason to be at war. Russia INVADED Ukraine. Not the other way around. Zelenskyy’s removal from office won’t stop Russian imperialism. It’s not about Zelenskyy. It’s about Putin. It’s always been about Putin.” John Cornyn: “Helping Putin in Ukraine is reckless. He would not stop with Ukraine and our NATO allies would be next. Putin is fanatically committed to restoring Russia’s glory days, calling the collapse of the Soviet Union ‘the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century’ and claiming Russia was ‘robbed’ in the breakup. . . Congress Must Investigate Trump’s Aid and Comfort to Putin.”

Fuck @elonmusk. Fuck @realDonaldTrump. Traitors to this country. Traitors to the free world.👇
“Elon Musk approached Donald Trump with the idea of slowing down Starlink in Ukraine, The Telegraph can reveal. The billionaire tech entrepreneur approached the US president with the proposal to introduce speed limits on the system, which hampered Ukraine’s drone defences, according to four sources familiar with the discussions. One of the sources said Mr Trump “agreed” with Mr Musk’s suggestion, paving the way for the Pentagon to execute the slowdown on Starshield, the military-grade version of the satellite communications system.

Me and Ilhan Omar are far apart policy wise. I’m pro life, she’s pro abortion. I’m pro 2A, she’s pro gun control. And on and on. But can someone tell me how pretending to get ready to deport Ilhan Omar is going to bring gas down under $2, make health insurance freaking affordable, make a family’s weekly grocery bill make sense, and stop sending our beloved military off to fight for another fucking foreign war??? People are so sick and tired of the bullshit. When you dumb mf’ers at the WH actually release the Epstein files and lock up the pedophiles and rapists you all hang out with, then we will start paying attention. Until then 🖕.

Capital punishment is unacceptable in any case. The planned broadcast of the taking of a life by firing squad is nothing short of performative barbarism. Do we really want our children, who will inevitably view it, exposed to the pornography of a state-sponsored slaying?

Today, Russia expressed its thanks for the lifting of sanctions on diesel exports by dropping five glide bombs on residential buildings in Zaporizhzhia. As of now, sadly, twelve people have been confirmed killed, including three children. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Another fourteen people have been injured, and two of them are in critical condition – the doctors are fighting to save their lives. The status of twelve more people who may have been there is still being verified. All emergency services are at the scene, and search-and-rescue operations are underway. Overnight, thirteen of our regions came under attack. Residential buildings, infrastructure, and railway facilities have been damaged. Last night confirmed once again that in Russia, they take any easing of pressure to mean they can keep fighting, to mean they can keep dropping bombs on cities. Different signals are needed. Russia must understand that it needs to stop the war, and for that to happen, Russia must feel its losses. Right now, it is our long-range capabilities that are ensuring this. And we will respond to Russian strikes. I thank everyone who is helping.

Trump definition of winning
So let's get this straight: Russia just murdered over 65 people in Ukraine in less than 48 hours. Crushed a building on top of sleeping families to celebrate Putin's birthday. And today, the U.S. announces that they are lifting sanctions on Russian diesel and planning to buy some, essentially becoming sponsors of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Just a day after a horrific terrorist attack by Russia that killed so many, and just before the winter when the Russian government screams from all the rooftops that they are going to create a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine by destroying our infrastructure. This is just such a low and cruel betrayal that it's hard to wrap my head around...

The FSB’s involvement in the quarantine indicates that “Russian authorities are treating the lab accident and plague outbreak as a national security issue, involving a lot more than routine public health.”
🚨☣️More details on the Oct 1st pneumonic plague outbreak in Siberia, after a lab accident at a BSL-3 lab. "FSB units accompanying ambulances transporting people who had been in contact with [lab tech] Shipilova for medical examination," as per local news. This is significant. FSB is Russia's domestic security / counterintelligence service, tasked w/implementing the national security of Russia." (Its predecessor was the KGB). This suggests quarantine was not voluntary. It also means Russian authorities are treating the lab accident and plague outbreak as a national security issue, involving a lot more than routine public health.

I recommend people read Time's interview with Trump to get a sense of the president's grave cognitive impairment. Trump is either unwilling or unable (or maybe both) to answer the questions he's actually asked, so he just rants and raves while the interviewers do their best to provide structure to his random brain firings. time.com/article/2026/10/01/…

Inflation numbers came out today, and the official story is that inflation went down. What the headline number doesn't tell you is that the government changed how inflation is calculated in the same release. A month ago, they said July inflation was 3.7%. Today, they recalculated July with the new formula and it dropped to 3.36%. If you measure August the same way as the months before it, inflation comes out around 3.8%, which means it went up. They didn't bring inflation down, they just changed how they calculate it. Bessent did something similar with CPI last month. You only modify the way you calculate if they numbers are that bad. They genuinely thought we wouldn't notice...

If you are an Eagles fan this is an enlightening read
The one play in the Eagles-Bears game that I can't get over was the screen to DeVonta Smith at the end of the first half. It's a play that will largely be forgotten, because the end result was a touchdown o the next play, but to me it screamed incompetence. Thread... 🧵

Living in a sound chamber
The fact that WH thinks this is a positive and somehow impresses the head of the Chinese Communist Party shows you how far off the deep end this presidency has gone. And how little they understand the challenge China presents.

What a cluster
Ok, so, a short recap of what’s happened: Farmers need potash as fertilizer. Potash is necessary to grow food and feed the world. Yet Trump started a completely pointless war in Iran which choked off the Strait of Hormuz. This limits the world supply of potash, as million of tons of it come from Jordan and must travel through the Strait. Ok, no problem. Our friendly neighbors to the north of us just happen to be the world’s #1 exporter of potash. We’ll just buy from them! Oh wait, Trump completely wrecked our friendship with Canada for literally no reason by slapping them with egregious tariffs and insulting them by calling them the 51st state. Well, darn. Ok, then we’ll make a deal with the #4 exporter of potash, Belarus. Belarus is a dictatorship and one of Putin’s satellite states. So, by buying from Belarus, we are indirectly helping Putin fund his war in Ukraine. Not good, but we need to eat. Oh wait, all of Belarus’ potash has already been spoken for. There’s none for us to buy. The USA is going to be in deep crap next growing season, and it’s not the kind of crap that can fertilize a field. There WILL be food shortages. Americans WILL go hungry. That’s the art of the deal, baby!

France and Ukraine fed Trump false intelligence to test whether he would leak it to Putin—and he did.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ukrainian officials rejected this claim when it was first made in January, as did the source of the rumour.
