Drought recovery @FormbyGolfClub is well underway! Following successful fescue overseeding of green perimeters & surrounds, attention now turns to fairways Terra-rake → collect → mow → pot seed → disc seed → topdress Restoring density & improving species composition 💪🏼🌱

Rolling it back 🔺

Archival imagery shows we used to have pyramid shaped tee markers, entirely unique to Formby - so we've brought them back. A huge thanks to Woods & Green for bringing this small piece of our history back to life.

Great to see the improved 7th open this week at @FormbyGolfClub. A fantastic upgrade - adding strategy, playability, and a redesigned green that delivers a fairer finish, all backed by stronger agronomic foundations ⛳️

After a long winter of work, our improved 7th opened this morning and was played by members, the Club Captain, and architects @sd_cooper and @joemmcdonne11, whose vision has transformed the hole. We're looking forward to seeing more members, and visitors, enjoy it this summer.
