Last weekend the club were delighted to win the prestigious Selwyn Lloyd Bowl for the fourth time (1971, 2011, 2024, 2026).
The long-established inter-club foursomes competition was first played in 1969 as part of @RLGCHoylake's centenary celebrations.
While our course is littered with stunning holes, the 9th is arguably the most photographed by visitors.
With its elevated tee shot and backdrop of dunes and pines, it's easy to see why.

Post-golf snooker season is nearly upon us in England, and while plenty of clubs have snooker rooms that take some beating, few can match the space at @FormbyGolfClub.

I forgot experience staying at Formby. It was wonderful from the moment I arrived. The staff makes you feel welcome, like you have been a member for years. The food and beverage service was top notch. The room was cozy and the view!!! Cannot wait to experience it again
Our clubhouse is more than a second home for members or a guest bedroom - it's somewhere we're genuinely proud to maintain, from the history on the walls to the hospitality within.
Our first four holes are more heathland than links, including the long 3rd.
While there's no dunes to navigate on this hole, the goal on this par 5 is clear: avoid the many pot bunkers.

The first tee shot after a stop at the Hut and one of our famous sausage rolls is the 12th.
The 13th plays straight back in the opposite direction, ensuring you can tick off another Hut visit before tackling the closing stretch.

Under the watchful eye of the clubhouse and the Dormy, closing a round on the 18th is never easy. While stood over a bunker shot or putt, there's always that feeling someone is watching you.

Earlier this week, 90 juniors from across the UK and Europe took part in our Junior Open.
The standard was outstanding, with a lowest gross of 70 in the boys', 74 in the girls', and net scores of 66 in both individual categories.
