How adorable is Enana? 😍 She’s 9yrs old and was handed in by a Galguero as she’s too old for service. Enana is really sweet and loving and loves to be with other dogs. She’s good on a lead, a bit cheeky, extremely cute and quite small. Her grey whiskers are enough to win anyone over … what do you think? ❤️

Pedro is 9yrs old and it’s time he found a home ❤️ Pedro was found run over but actually his injuries were not to bad. He has a very slight head tilt but nothing to be done. He’s fine and has seen the neuro vet. He has leishmania but it’s under control and we will of course do new bloods before leaving for any home. Galgos del sol always offers to pay for medication like glucantime if it’s needed later if he finds a home in Spain. Sadly in other countries whilst we offer support the vets don’t always accept it so there are variables on that offer. Pedro has lived in the volunteer apartment on-site and has learnt the comforts of a sofa, a human bed and that of a home but he is still shy with those he doesn’t know and needs to see more of the world. Once he knows you he’ll be sleeping by your side forever your best friend. It’s his turn … let’s get him a home ♥️

Hehe the many faces of Louli 😍 Louli is just a few years old and was rescued from the streets. She had to have a hip operation that was done in Madrid previously. She’s doing great, is very loving but it’s slightly noticeable one leg is a little shorter than the other but doesn’t cause a problem and another operation is not needed. She will start swimming soon to stretch those muscles. Isn’t she a cutie? She needs a home ❤️☺️

Juncal is a 5yr old boy and is a fabulous all rounder ❤️ You need him to be calm? He’s calm. You want him to play? He’ll play. A lovely gentle boy who’s great on a lead and ready for a home 🏡 Will you share?

Rocky and Iris start the morning with a big hello ❤️ Just puppies they wondered if yiou might give them a share? 🙏🏻 They don’t need to be homed together, they just need lots of love . Who agrees they are adorable? 😍

In the last 48hrs we’ve taken in 23 dogs with more still due to arrive soon from the streets. Yes… TWENTY THREE 🫣 Shannon and Dave took on this big transport this morning where hundreds of galgos are waiting to come out of the perrera. We haven’t asked for a while, we’ve let you have your coffees in peace 😅 but today if you are willing to switch out and donate those few £$€ to these dogs instead we would be really grateful. Five €$£ makes a big difference. Please don’t worry that the button comes up in dollars. Our button is registered in the USA as the EU removed the option. Thank you so much and let’s hope you all see a dog in this video you might want to adopt ❤️🙏 galgosdelsol.org/donate

We are really struggling to get interest in Jillys pups. Will you give Moonstone a share? 🙏🏻❤️

Cartuja is another new arrival to gds and is a real sweetie 🥰 She is just around 18mths. As with most galgos she loves to be with other dogs, she’s nice on a lead and very gentle. We will have more info soon as her personality comes out but please keep her in mind if looking for a lovely young lady ❤️

Little Collie was rescued from the streets. She’s just under a year and is getting to know that we are not all bad. She’s a funny little thing and around 10kg only. Plz will you share and help find her forever family? 🙏🏻❤️

Moonstone and Pearl advise everyone to have an early night. They think if everyone wakes up happy and energetic then they might get reserved for a home. Come on… pj’s on. Night night 😴
