Best wishes @CliffDrysdale on your post ESPN life. My favorite Cliff line - “He put the goggles and flippers on and took a dive” when the player wasn’t giving full effort. For me, Cliff = ESPN Tennis!

I'm convinced that there is one skill that separates truly intelligent people from those that aren't: Listening. This concept of "being a recorder" by Rick Rubin explains it perfectly. In less than a minute, Rubin provides 4 simple steps that will change how you think about...

This is turning into one of the great marketing mysteries of our time. It is always effectiveness first. Then efficiency.
Marketers often have an unhealthy obsession with efficiency - in many circumstances the Principle of Redundancy is of more value In the excellent Why does the pedlar sing by Paul Feldwick

Steve Jobs once said: "The most powerful person is the storyteller." In light of Apple GPT, here is 1981 Steve Jobs with the best analogy of what AI will do to humans: (1) There was a research paper in Scientific American looking at the efficiency of locomotion for species to go a certain distance. (2) Man is inefficient (1/3 down the list), but by riding a bicycle, man can beat everything on the list. (3) Man can be a tool maker amplifying inherent abilities where they fall short. "We are fashioning a 21st-century bicycle that can amplify inherent intellectual ability that man has and take care of drudgery to free people to do more creative work." Steve Jobs described computing as the bicycle for our minds. His model rings even more true as AI augments our intelligence.

Always love to see the solitary athlete dedicated to training when no one else is around.
More brilliant thinking from @davetrott. I have always thought that brainstorming meetings were the worst way to get new ideas.
