That's what Jigsaw has been exploring with Sensemaking AI.
In Oklahoma, 1,000 residents took part in a conversation about the state's future.
AI-generated questions helped people explain the "why" behind their views—and 73% said state leaders felt more accessible.
Through the Jigsaw Partner Program, we're making our Sensemaking AI more accessible to help more leaders listen at scale, understand community priorities, and turn public input into action.

People are using AI every day, but how is it affecting their sense of capability—as individuals & in their communities? A sneak preview of new research we did with @Gemic & @Google: people associate their AI use with strong feelings of greater agency and capability.
So far, however, that boost still seems to stop at the individual. Few participants felt more empowered to shape the systems, neighborhoods, or institutions around them as a result of using AI tools.

Over the next several weeks, the Napolitan Institute, with Jigsaw as its technology partner, will display "America: A 250-Year Conversation," an interactive physical exhibition at the Great American State Fair.
