Stopped by my local breakfast place this morning to grab a bite and kick up some petty small town gossip. I highly recommend this for everyone today.

Musk's Nazi salute is my hard out. I'm not deactivating or anything -- I've always used Twitter to keep in touch with people I know IRL and it'll stay here as a business card. But I'll be posting and hanging out at the other place. Join me, and let's work to repair the world.

Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because David Lynch succeeded in finding the most beautiful woman on the planet and putting her on TV

no piece of art has shown as much understanding of and affection for david lynch as riverdale. in no way, shape or form is this even slightly a joke.

Lynch films were gifts, toy boxes for film lovers we could sit with for hours, contemplating the meaning, decoding the clues, long beyond the runtime. In an era of needles competition, he invited us into his works to interpret & remind us we’re individuals. No reading was wrong

All the optimism in classic sci-fi was centered on machines doing our drudgery for us, but instead the oligarchs have used it to replace the things that make life enjoyable so we have more time to work for them.

For me the scariest thing about the world of Fahrenheit 451 is that people could no longer think because they had forgotten how. The advent of AI and decline in the humanities brings that future ever nearer. We must resist the temptation to surrender our intellects.

In many ways, I'm much more worried about the second Trump presidency because of how normalized the behavior has become. This kind of thing--an opinion writer's opinion spiked because it criticized Dear Leader--would never have happened before. Now it's just our culture.

Now that I’ve given every new X-Men title a few issues to develop, I have my final ranking: I like all of them.

If I *had* to pick a favorite I’d probably go with NYX because it feels a bit like classic NEW MUTANTS but if the kids were loose in the city. But that’s a very-specific-to-me criterion.
