If u are upset by the quality of political PR people, I would suggest you save some outrage for the fact the single biggest spend for the SNAP program is on sugary drinks and that 50% of adult women on SNAP are obese.
SNAP annual budget : $120 billion.
NIH budget: $45 billion.
Q: “Should tax payer dollars be used for sugary sodas ?”
A: “blah blah We have a hunger crisis .. there is no data to prove soda every day is unhealthy.. ”
@thackerpd is right — hilarious back and forth

If there ever was a sequence that defines Kirk Ferentz Iowa football:
1. Try the hard count on 4th & 4 in your opponent’s territory.
2. Take the delay of game to give your punter more room
3. Boston Everitt pins Ohio St at the 2-yd line
Perfection.
Great article!! #gohawks
Since Kirk Ferentz became coach, Iowa has won 40 games with less than 20 points & 70 games when losing total yardage, the most nationally.
CFP era: least penalty yards by 300, most INTs, fewest rush TDs allowed.
How? Simply, they "out-Iowa" people.

The Nintendo 64 officially launched in the U.S. 30 years ago today.
September 29, 1996.
The three-pronged controller, blowing into cartridges even though we weren’t supposed to, and seeing Super Mario 64 running on a TV for the first time.
For a kid in 1996, this thing felt like the future.

Only the Vikings could enter the season with a first-round QB, sideline him for a new QB, watch that guy get hurt, put in a third QB who goes 2-0, give the second QB his job back when he returns, and then have fans calling to trade for another team’s quarterback—all while sitting undefeated atop the division.
Football is back, baby.

I’m sitting here scrolling watching every single angle and call of that last play. Biggest Iowa FB play since McNutt’s TD at MSU in 2009 right? Can’t think of anything else other than game winning FG’s. But this was a 16 yard TD on last play of game!
