This is so disappointing. Candidates for public office should show up for debates, whether they’re ahead or behind in the polls. And if you’re a currently elected official who skips one, you deserve to lose.

Let’s also not forget that there is zero remorse for his actions. In 2014 Hasan wrote to the leader of ISIS asking to become a citizen of the Islamic State.

Trump has approved — death by U.S. Army firing squad for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, the jihadist who opened fire on unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009. He killed 13 people and wounded 32 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the attack.
The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution. Judgement day for Hasan has finally come.
