Patrick meant so much to the community in South London. Unbelievably committed. A great loss. Thoughts with Julia and family.

Really great to have done this event at Connection at St Martins Pam. Thanks for being with us and apologies to your poor receptionist who just couldn't get us to leave and showed inordinate patience.
@Literacy_100 delighted to be at the launch of this report into the importance of supporting people with their literacy in adulthood. It really affects people who experience homelessness.
Thanks for your kind comments Jon. A very uplifting event. The three men, Foysol, Gary and Dennis, talking about overcoming poor literacy and dyslexia with such clarity and honesty being the stars, in my mind. The security guard behind Lord Bird looks a bit menacing 😂
Good to be at the launch of the Literacy 100 Charter for adults who have been homeless at Connection at St Martins. John Bird, founder of Big Issue, and @JeremySwain were on good form! Well hosted @Youngestorchard!!

If you're sleeping rough, we can help you get tested for Hep C at our centre (or we can refer you to a suitable GP) 💙
Share this, and you could be saving a life.
😂Pam, really you needn't bother. You would have to set yourself some KPI's to become earnest. Bottom left of grid - not urgent, not important.
Replying to @JeremySwain
I am going off to do my important/urgent grid and set some KPIs on not being earnest....
Thanks Pam - that's kind of you.
I have greatly enjoyed reading this blog by @JeremySwain about coaching - thanks @HomelessLink homeless.org.uk/news/becomin…
'You, as Chief Executive are duty bound to do the things that only the Chief Executive can do’. It is true that I was easily distracted. How a patient, and helpfully direct, coach got me into shape.
Really interesting guest blog for @HomelessLink from @JeremySwain on how coaching transformed his leadership. Well worth a read:

Hi Matt. I'm interested in your comments as data on homeofficelife.com indicates that the group wanting to work from home most are over 55s & 16-24 Yr olds the group most keen on working in the office full time. Could you link me with the data you have that contradicts this?

Glad you feel it went well Tom and wishing you and all at @The999Club the very best over the coming months. Your service users will need you more than ever and I have no doubt that, despite the challenges, many will take great steps forward.
We had our away day at work yesterday and I am so grateful to @JeremySwain @tobylloyd @Youngestorchard @LRMNetwork for giving their perspective on what’s coming down the road, even if it wasn’t always a cheery view of the immediate future!

This #InternationalWomensDay, and throughout March, we will be celebrating the ways in which women in the Thames Reach community are helping resolve people's homelessness, as well as confronting the barriers women are facing in their journey away from homelessness.

Due to freezing temperatures in London, outreach workers now have additional resources to help people off the streets. If you see someone sleeping rough, log their location with @Tell_StreetLink and help us to support those sleeping rough tonight.
