Biden's "jersey barrier" border wall is even worse for wildlife than the bollard walls built during the Trump era. Texas Indigo snakes, armadillos, jackrabbits--animals that could fit through the old steel slats--will be stymied by this concrete barrier.politico.com/news/2023/11/11…

Biden's movable wall is criticized by environmentalists and those who want more border security

A bumblebee can only fly for about 40 minutes between feeding. But we've lost 97% of our wiłdflower meadows. So each nectar-rich flower you plant in a windowbox or your garden or community green spaces could be the pit stop that saves a bee 🐝

Had a sensational time last night seeing @thechicks in Madison! Was my fourth time seeing them since 2002 and they still rock the house and move the audience. Such immense personalities, presence, and TALENT. 😍🤩🥹

I’m on the shore of Lake Superior where some driftwood looks like rocks, some rocks look like homemade hamburger buns, and others look like donut holes.

Other rocks are just gorgeous rocks. Apparently rockhounding has quietly and abruptly found me in my 40s just like birdwatching did.

So nice when local businesses contribute to the community. Thanks to @culvers and these other contributors to today’s @RedCross blood drive in Monticello, WI!

We recently documented more than 1800 stadium-bright lights installed along the border wall in Arizona's key conservation areas, waiting to be turned on. These lights would be devastating for wildlife, disrupting natural rhythms & sending cascading impacts through the ecosystem.

I've been seeing more and more anti-LGBTQ+ legislation or policy proposals, many focused on trans people. I don't know yet how to combat those plans, but as a 1st step I can at least let y'all know I'm appalled & angry. They're wrong and you deserve better: equality. 🌈#ally
