Colour Manager for @tableau update incoming!
- It is now a @figma plugin and
- It allows you to extract colours from images!
export your colours straight into a Figma file to get the swatch on your canvas and colour variables for your design.

You can now also just drag and drop an image file (or your preferences.tps file) into the tool to get the colours extracted to use them in your visualisations.
No need to use Figma, the tools is also still available on my website: vizku.nz/cmt/
Considering participating in #IronViz? The new version of the Colour Manager for @tableau might be helpful.

I added a curated selection of @flerlagekr & @FlerlageKev #Datafam Colors to the tool, so with only 2 clicks you can add them to your preferences. More will follow in the future.

Here is a cool new data story out of #APAC about the #Olympics2024Paris!
#datafam sharing a @Tableau data story as part of #SWDchallenge visualising the Olympics. This one focuses on Jess Fox, a multi-year canoe slalom world champion across both K1 and C1. Despite her success, Olympic Gold in K1 had eluded her until Paris.

There are a bunch of UI improvements throughout the tool that provide more consistency and easier usage:
- new icons
- consistent colour pills
- easier to use palette title field
I also did a ton of technical work to make it easier to provide more features #cmt
