I am disappointed by the "Doctored" book and the narrative around its promotion. While a handful of scientists have put ego over integrity, and this rightfully should be called out, the work of these few fraudulent researchers should not diminish from the tireless, rigorous work of the thousands of dementia researchers around the world. Hard work that has collectively resulted in our first disease-modifying treatments for Alzheimer's disease. In fact, suggesting the field is fraught with conflict and fraud does a disservice to the millions of Alzheimer’s patients and their families.
