Drill rig is up for the @Cornell Earth Source Heat project. If successful, this 10k foot hole will heat campus, largely enable Cornell to be carbon neutral, and reduce 7% of the county’s greenhouse gas emissions. Exciting!

Energy Return on Energy Invested #ERoEI got edited out of my recent piece. Nuke bods love to claim nuclear's ERoEI of 60 is a killer for renewables. But an ERoEI of 60 over 60 years and 25 over 25 years are identical! And nuclear takes 10 years to build vs renewables less than 2.
