I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Oklahoma County Commissioner District 3! I will work to improve and expand the resources for mental health or substance abuse and address homelessness in our County. It’s time we have a leader that prioritizes the people they serve!

After hours of public comment, the PP Board removed some requirements that would’ve made it nearly impossible for many @OklaDOC prisoners to be eligible for commutation.
I first wrote about this in Dec. when Attorney Morgan Hale sounded the alarm.

Absent from the final proposal are four prerequisites that would have required most prisoners to receive a favorable recommendation from a trial official or the governor before applying for commutation.

It’s been an honor talking to voters in Oklahoma County. I am encouraged by the many of you who are just as invested in the future of our county. Congratulations to Cathy on a tough race!
Let’s get behind our county, state and federal Democrats to make this more purple. My advocacy is not over. I will still be involved in all the priorities I spoke about during this race. Thank you so much to my partner, Alicia!!! I couldn’t have done this without you!!

50+ years after Stonewall, we're reminded of the long fight to protect the most marginalized folks in our communities from policing. Today we remind folks liberation is a collective effort, & that means not supporting policies that happen at the expense members of our community.
