A well written Function in your code should: 🔸Preferably be named with a verb e.g getUsers() not users(). 🔸Achieve the smallest possible result. 🔸Preferably return a value instead of being void. 🔸Be predictable and readable by other developers.

- Always apply with projects you've built. - Be open to working on stuff outside your stack. - Care more about how much experience they've got to offer you than the salary offer. - You're going to get rejected alot, it's normal. - Be patient: The first job is the hardest to get.

Failing an Algorithm interview test doesn't make you a bad developer. It's mostly about interview focused preparation & you just probably didn't put in enough time prepping as the dev who set the test.

Tech-tweeting can sometimes be an advantage when applying for developer jobs. Just like Open source, it could signal to some employers that: - You're confident enough to put your knowledge out there - You're willing to learn & be corrected - You have good communication skills.
