If you have traveled across the 56th St. Causeway lately you have noticed the progress being made by some volunteers in painting the barriers. We work again on Wed., May 10th, from 1 - 3. If you would like to help, come join us. Meet at park office.
Thanks to those who came out last weekend and helped clean up along Reed Road in the Eagle Creek Park Trail area. I'd like to encourage everyone to take a bag out with them when they walk or run and fill it when they are done. Help make a difference.
Hard to imagine that these were all blooming in February! Snowdrops, yes, but the others - and so many more have come up! Sure is great to see spring flowers.
This is a great reminder - I have noticed a lot of leaves and debris on storm drains lately. Please check those by your home and clear them.

Officer Sechrist from the IMPD Northwest District CRU spoke about the importance of the Cruisin’ with Cops Car Show on September 17th. This event will be from 8am - 2pm on W 16th Street across the street from @IMS. This is our fundraiser for community events.

There are still two weeks left to donate school supplies at Eagle Creek Park to help students here on the west side to have the tools they need to do their best work. Please give generously, as the need is really out there.
Everyone - please watch for school buses as you drive during school hours as well as watching for children walking to and from bus stops or school. They may not be watching for you. Remember to slow down by schools.
