Seeing all the pictures of the ice coming in reminded us of this gorgeous illustration by Josee Bisaillon.
You can see more of her beautiful work, and read a

I’ve been trying every day to say nice things to people, being helpful, telling people I love that I love them, letting in cars, smiling and saying hello to strangers. With so much anger the antidote has to be spreading kindness.

It’s hard to comprehend a culture where a parent acquires a military-grade weapon to protect their family against conjured human threats that will likely never materialize, but declines medically proven protection against a viral menace that’s literally surrounding them.

This is absolutely awful news for the authors affected by this and everyone on one of the best publishing teams I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Sending good vibes out to my friends at the @orcabook pod - fingers crossed this resolves happily.
