Government's proposed legislation is not a 'reform' of the Triple Lock, it is the *removal* of the Triple Lock.
There is only one side misinforming.

'There is no longer a multilateral framework in which Ireland can pursue peacekeeping overseas.'
Fine Gael openly giving up on the UN, and deepening Ireland's military alignment with the EU and NATO, which is what this was always about.
What a shameful day for our government. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael think they can give away our neutrality but it's not theirs to dismantle.
Western 'liberal' 'democracy' is ultimately all about power, profit for weapons manufacturers, endless violence and war. We can't have this

Government shamefully votes to abolish the Triple Lock, which is at the core of our neutrality according to Micheál Martin.
This is not the end. It still has to get through multiple stages of the Oireachtas. We need to build pressure to stop them and allow the people to decide.

A devastating day for Ireland.
We've sold our national grid and the environment to Big Tech.
Handed our skies to US war planes.
Our seas to EU factory ships.
Our conscience to appease the USA.
And now the last one falls...
Our neutrality for an EU army that supports Israel.

Shameful

When you hear Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael say abolishing the #TripleLock won't undermine neutrality, you need to remember that these are parties that also say allowing Shannon airport to be used as a US military base for decades doesn't undermine neutrality.

It seems @Metallica wants to keep Steve Cohen who is the majority stakeholder of The Sphere, happy. Steve also funds Friends of the IDF and runs a clinic for Veterans and family in Israel. Sad how low you will go for financial gain. Dont be Metallica be Macklemore #FreePalestine
Metallica frontman James Hetfield criticized entertainers who use concerts to promote political messages during the band's performance at the Sphere in Las Vegas on October 10.
Addressing the audience, Hetfield said Metallica was not there to influence fans with political agendas but to help them escape the outside world through “love, energy and heavy music.”
His remarks came weeks after rapper Macklemore was removed from Ed Sheeran's US tour following his onstage “Free Palestine” speech in support of Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
Although Hetfield did not name Macklemore or any other artist, his comments have drawn attention over musicians using their platforms to address political issues.
On Wednesday 21 October from 11am to 2pm the Showgrounds will host a Coffee Morning as part of ‘Cook For Gaza”. All funds raised will support Concern Worldwide’s vital humanitarian work in Gaza 🇵🇸
