A 1,400 lb hay bale sitting in the road ain't just hay.
A car hits it at 70 mph?
➡️ 116,000 lbs of force
This is what unsecured and overheight "farm loads" really do. Strap it and plan your trip Or don’t haul it.

Garth’s 6-variety LibertyLink® Canola trial east of Holden was coming along nicely when we checked in on it in July! 🌱💪
It’s been exciting to see differences develop in the field and we can’t wait to share what we’re learning.
Big thanks to Garth and everyone involved in this trial!

Wild oats can be sneaky, but a bit of early scouting goes a long way. 👀🌾
Take a walk through your fields (W-pattern style), check how your pre-burn did, and make sure your crop is ahead of the wild oats.
The sweet spot for staying wild oat free? That 1–3 leaf stage of your crop. Chat with your local CMN team about options for a second pass if needed.

So @MarkJCarney comes to Edmonton and says he opposes an oil and gas production cap; then heads back to Ottawa and promises an oil and gas production cap costing Albertans and Canadians tens of thousands of jobs.
The more things change the more they stay the same. The Liberals clearly have not learned their lesson and have no plan to make our country into the independent economic powerhouse it could be.
