⚡️247K+ transactions in a single day @MultiversX keeps proving its capacity, delivering speed and consistent on-chain activity 24/7. $EGLD 💎
⚡ @MultiversX got 247,817 transactions through on October 13.
That is nearly 3 transactions every second through the whole day, and its busiest day of the past 7 days.
MultiversX stayed busy from start to finish.

elrond-erd-2:native — MultiversX
ㅤ
Most people still see elrond-erd-2:native as an older Layer 1.
ㅤ
But the bigger thesis is more useful:
ㅤ
Fast blockchain infrastructure + better consumer experience.
ㅤ
Save this checklist:
ㅤ
-> What it does
ㅤ
MultiversX gives developers infrastructure for building fast applications with low-cost transactions.
ㅤ
Think:
ㅤ
Payments.
DeFi.
Gaming.
Digital identity.
Consumer apps.
ㅤ
-> Why people care
ㅤ
Crypto still has a usability problem.
ㅤ
Fast chains help, but normal users also need simple wallets, easy payments, and apps that do not feel like crypto.
ㅤ
MultiversX has spent years pushing toward that kind of consumer experience.
ㅤ
-> Main narrative
ㅤ
Layer 1.
Consumer Crypto.
Payments.
Web3 Apps.
Digital Identity.
ㅤ
-> What makes it different
ㅤ
MultiversX is not only competing on transaction speed.
ㅤ
Its stronger angle is combining scalable infrastructure with consumer-facing products and digital identity.
ㅤ
That gives it a broader use case than a pure performance chain.
ㅤ
-> Bull case
ㅤ
If consumer crypto, payments, and real Web3 apps start attracting more mainstream users, MultiversX could benefit from having both infrastructure and user-facing products.
ㅤ
That gives elrond-erd-2:native re-rating potential if adoption starts accelerating.
ㅤ
-> Biggest risk
ㅤ
Competition + attention.
ㅤ
The Layer 1 market is crowded, and MultiversX does not always get the same mindshare as newer chains.
ㅤ
It needs stronger user growth, liquidity, and breakout applications.
ㅤ
-> What actually drives the token
ㅤ
More network usage.
More staking demand.
More app activity.
More payments.
More users entering the ecosystem.
ㅤ
The key is simple:
ㅤ
MultiversX growth needs to create real demand for EGLD.
ㅤ
-> What to watch before buying
ㅤ
Active users.
Developer growth.
DeFi TVL.
Stablecoin liquidity.
Payment activity.
Consumer app adoption.
EGLD staking demand.
ㅤ
-> Best environment for this coin
ㅤ
Layer 1 rotation.
Consumer crypto narrative.
Payments narrative.
Falling BTC dominance.
Strong altcoin liquidity.
ㅤ
My view:
ㅤ
Narrative: 8/10
Utility: 9/10
Adoption: 7/10
Risk: Medium-High
Upside: High
ㅤ
Payments.
Consumer apps.
Digital identity.
ㅤ
elrond-erd-2:native is basically a bet that the next wave of blockchain adoption comes from better user experience, not just faster technology.
ㅤ
If consumer-facing crypto gets another strong rotation, MultiversX is one of the older Layer 1 names worth revisiting.
ㅤ
Save this for your Layer 1 / consumer crypto watchlist.

BANKS ARE THE BIGGEST MONEY LAUNDERERS ON THE PLANET. JPMORGAN TOLD THE SENATE IT'S SOMEONE ELSE.
Not one of their CEOs went to prison.
In 2020, 2,100 leaked bank reports showed the banks themselves flagging over $2 trillion in suspicious money between 1999 and 2017. They moved it anyway.
Here's what they've owned up to.
TD Bank left 92% of its transactions unmonitored for six years. $18.3 trillion. Pleaded guilty.
Wachovia, now Wells Fargo, failed to monitor $420 billion from Mexican currency exchanges. Fine: $160 million.
About $200 billion ran through a single Danske Bank branch in Estonia, much of it suspicious. Pleaded guilty.
BNP Paribas moved $8.8 billion for Sudan, Iran and Cuba. Pleaded guilty.
Standard Chartered was accused of hiding $250 billion in Iran deals from New York regulators. Settled.
Deutsche Bank let $10 billion slip out of Russia through "mirror trades".
HSBC moved at least $881 million in drug money.
JPMorgan kept Jeffrey Epstein as a client until 2013, five years after his conviction. It reported over $1 billion of his transactions as suspicious. A month after he died.
And this Tuesday, Bank of America admitted it willfully broke anti-money laundering law. Over $5 billion in suspicious transactions it didn't report on time. Treasury says it "prioritized its revenues." Fine: $1.2 billion. Profit that quarter: $6.9 billion.
The US Attorney General said it out loud in 2013. Some banks are so big "it does become difficult to prosecute them."
That's Jamie Dimon in the video, at the Senate in 2023. Watch who he blames.
Deposit more than $10,000 in cash and your bank reports you to the government.
Let $18.3 trillion go unchecked and you get a fine.
Two sets of rules. Guess which one you're on.

When @xMoney_com offers card payments to business clients while still use @MultiversX or other blockchains in the background?
Then the blockchain becomes the underlying infrastructure, much like SWIFT and banking networks today. No one other than the provider needs to be aware.

speed is won. scalability is delivered by MvX.
Vitalik is saying this about zkEVMs today.
i would say the same about any chain that already shipped latency.
after the hard part stops being "how fast",
the next hard part is "what exactly did we ship".
formally verifying the critical paths.
equivalence to the spec.
hard bounds on cost. but not even that closes all the gaps. even formally verified code can have bugs 🐛.
i do think the consumer facing apps are more important, oh, and the consumer facing security. evm or zkevm the user is still one approve away from being drained. if the wallets, apps, whole ecosystem does not adopt better security standards, it doesn’t matter what is formally verified.
Big congratulations to the @zksync airbender team for this milestone.
At this point, I consider the battle for speed to be definitively won, and the top priority for zkEVMs should shift fully to security.
To me that means formally verifying
(i) equivalence of the arithmetization to the ethereum spec
(ii) a hard maximum bound on (prover cost) / (amount of gas in block)
(iii) security of the proof system itself

Looking forward to a fruitful exchange of ideas today!
I am truly honored to take part in a first-of-its-kind public debate in Romania on one of the most profound questions of our time: The AI Era: Paradise or Apocalypse?
Held on October 15, as part of the IQ Digital Summit in Bucharest, the debate will bring together two opposing teams in the classic Oxbridge format, presenting and challenging the strongest arguments on both sides.
The progress we've witnessed over the past few years, the past few months, and even the past few days has been nothing short of extraordinary.
From breakthroughs in coding, mathematics, and medicine to advances across an ever-expanding range of fields, the pace of progress is both exhilarating, sobering and difficult to fully comprehend.
Yet, beyond the many nuances, at the heart of this debate lies a deceptively simple question:
Should we accelerate the development of artificial intelligence toward its full potential, or should we slow down, perhaps even stop?
Whatever our individual convictions may be today, I suspect our children and grandchildren will one day look back at this period as the years before a great transition. A moment when humanity stood at the threshold of something it could barely begin to imagine.
And perhaps, more importantly, a moment when the choices we made helped shape what came next. This is precisely why I believe these are among the most fascinating, important, and consequential questions we can engage with in public dialogue.
To me, the future has never been something we should expect to happens to us. It has always been something we have a responsibility to help shape. Looking forward to a remarkable exchange of ideas.
See you in Bucharest!
