🌹 Honoured to have been elected Labour & Co-operative Councillor for Kentish Town North with @SylviaMcnamara_ last night!
Thanks to everyone involved for their support. I can’t wait to get stuck in with an amazing team as Camden’s youngest councillor!
As I told The Guardian, in Camden we support dockless hire bikes, but not when they’re blocking pavements or parking bays.
That’s why we’re acting - so far this year, we’ve seized 1600 bikes, fined companies £250k and are working on a Londonwide solution.

Thanks to the Camden Council and London Fire Brigade who have been in Kentish Town today to pick up the pieces from yet another burst pipe.
Week after week in Camden, we see the damage done by Thames Water’s failing infrastructure. We will keep holding them to account for this.

We're aware of a burst water main on Kentish Town Road and are working with @ThamesWater and @LFB to tackle the problem. In the meantime, please avoid the area, and we'll provide an update as soon as possible. (1)

We are so proud of our MP, @Keir_Starmer
He took our party from its worst election defeat in decades to a landslide majority, rooted out antisemitism in our Party, and delivered for people across the country in government.
We see that impact every day in Camden. Thank you, Keir

Really good conversations with residents on housing, dealing with anti-social behaviour and Camden action on climate.

Good news for Londoners.
The Freedom Pass is vital for older Londoners, helping them stay connected to friends and family.
Labour councils have my full backing to protect it 👏🏾
Labour council leaders in London have blocked a proposed review of the Freedom Pass that could have restricted the free travel benefits currently enjoyed by 1.2m older Londoners. standard.co.uk/news/transpor…

I understand that bottled water is being provided to those in priority need, and Camden is working with Thames Water.

Latest update from @thameswater below on the earlier incident in Kentish Town - a rest centre is now being set up. Water supply should now be back on.
Please do get in touch if you have been impacted by flooding - and contact Thames Water for support.
Huge thanks to the @CamdenCouncil and @thameswater teams on the ground, as well as police and fire teams, who have worked tirelessly through the day to support those affected by flooding and fix the damage.
Part of Leighton Road remains closed with repairs taking place now.
