Todd Beamer was the passenger on United Airlines Flight 93 who rallied fellow passengers to fight back against the 9/11 hijackers with the phrase "Let's roll" and stopped it from reaching Washington, DC.
This is his daughter, Morgan, who was born 4 months after his death and went on to play women's soccer at his alma mater, Wheaton College.
Imagine how proud he would be. 🇺🇸 #neverforget

Alright, the flight is booked!!!🇺🇸✈️
In exactly one week we’re flying back to America! We’ll land in Chicago on Thursday, do some quick sightseeing, and then on Friday we’ll get in the car and drive to Iowa City for our first ever college football game.
Iowa vs Iowa State!!!🏈

ISLAMIC TAKEOVER in IOWA SCHOOLS
A source sent me photos showing a display inside Weber Elementary School (@IowaCitySchools) in Iowa, where signs are translated in Arabic.
I'm told that other signs, including door and parking signs, are also written in Arabic.
Why is this in our schools?!

River Valley Coop which covers the Eastern 20 of Iowa and 29% of North Central Illinois came in 19 bushels less than last year’s tour
Same rate, same $/acre, which one would you apply? If your going to make the pass.. Make the pass count!
Upped the rate of the goodies upped the app rate. Unicorn heavy, Unicorn complete, generic fungacide. Time to eat!!

I got contacted by a major media outlet to comment on the activities around “Right to Repair.”
Had an hour conversation that this onion had many layers
Not simply you can wrench your own tractor.
That R2R meant the mfg could inflate repair part costs, control trade areas, etc

Hmmm….Not was I was expecting to find this morning. For all the haters, if I had a newspaper I would include it in the picture. @alisonrISU we may want to have a look at this. @corndisease @CropNetwork – at Cedar Rapids, IA

Govt payments definitely elevate land prices
But how about the U.S. policy of step up basis? Farmland enters investment portfolios just because investors can use it to escape capital gains tax
And most 1031 tax free exchanges are used by real estate developers vs farmers
Land prices are trading near $16,000/acre while growers lose money 3 years straight.
How?
💸A new analysis shows how crop insurance, ARC/PLC, and subsidies keep land and rent artificially propped up.

My planter f up. 15yr c/c forgot to turn on insec on 2 vt2/tre hybrids. No below ground protection except for @PBiocontrol I was expecting a train wreck and am pleasantly surprised/shocked. I'm not advocating this practice of no below ground protection.

First tassels are coming out in Eastern Iowa.
A good indicator that peak damage is happening from Corn Rootworm.
@PBiocontrol will be doing a root dig tour the last week of July starting in NW Iowa and moving East.
Contact me if you would like us to stop and rate your roots!

Pulling a guys scholarship a month before he arrives on campus after he’s been committed for four years out of fear that he might have to leave for cancer treatment seems like an almost inconceivable thing to do.
Not inconceivable enough for Mike Bianco.
New Iowa Baseball commit Brett Harris had his Ole Miss scholarship rescinded just over a month before he was set to arrive on campus.
