Future passengers using Elizabeth line services at HS2's Old Oak Common in west London will benefit from step-free access, following agreement between HS2 Ltd, Network Rail, Transport for London and the Department for Transport.

On 29 September, the Siemens DaNi and Škoda 18Ev2 049 trainsets arrived – the last unit in the series for BDŽ. On 1 October, they were joined by the bimodal Škoda 15Ev5. Internal customer tests are currently being carried out on the DaNi and 15Ev5.
